The wide, stable base and compact height make the flat bottle very stable and easy to stack, and the large front face is formed to a consistent flatness so prints and labels lie smooth. The shoulder is kept low to preserve the profile.

The flat form works with low-profile, snap and weighted caps that keep the bottle slim, and it is frequently paired with a pocket sleeve or a molded tray in the box.

Materials and construction

Clear flint soda-lime glass is the base material of this bottle. It is melted, formed and then slowly cooled in an annealing lehr to relieve stress, which is essential to avoid breakage during filling, transit and shelf use. The glass is chosen for its clarity and for its compatibility with perfume and other alcohol-based products.

A heavy, thick base gives the bottle its premium weight and keeps it steady, while the neck is kept to a consistent finish for the cap and pump. The mouth is inspected to the same tolerance on every run, and pieces with stones, bubbles or mould lines are removed before packing.

In its standard format this flat bottle holds 50 ml and measures approximately 76 mm high by 66 mm wide. Because the bottle is made on our own moulds, fill volume and proportions can be tuned to your fragrance, and we commonly produce 10, 15, 30, 50 and 100 ml versions. The 50 ml bottle is the flagship size for many eau de parfum and eau de toilette lines. It is large enough to feel substantial and to present the bottle design at its best, but still comfortable to hold and to carry. When a brand visualizes its hero bottle, the 50 ml format is often the one that appears in the campaign imagery.

Quality control

Three inspection gates control quality: incoming materials and moulds, the production line, and finished goods. Each gate compares against the approved standard, and decorated pieces undergo cross-cut adhesion and alcohol-resistance testing. These two tests specifically confirm the print and coating will survive the filling line and the shelf.
