How Perfume Bottle Quality Is Checked Before Shipment

Visual and dimensional checks

Bottles are inspected for cracks, stones, bubbles, thin walls and mold marks, and measured for height, width, capacity and neck finish. The neck is checked because a poor fit causes leaks or caps that do not seal.

Finish tests

  • Cross-cut adhesion: coating and print bond correctly
  • Alcohol resistance: finish survives fragrance contact
  • Color consistency against the approved sample

Packaging check

Packing, labeling and documentation are checked before dispatch, and the packaging is validated for glass. See the full quality process and certifications.

The checks that matter most at each stage

Before decoration, the focus is on the bottle itself: wall thickness, stones, bubbles, the base and the critical neck dimensions, because a defective bottle cannot be recovered by good printing. After decoration, the checks shift to the finish: adhesion, alcohol resistance, color consistency and registration. Separating these stages means a defect is caught at the earliest point where it is still cheap to correct, rather than after the component is boxed.

We also keep the approved reference sample and its color standard on file, so repeat orders are compared against the same master rather than against the last batch, which prevents gradual drift in color and decoration over a series of reorders.
